this hotel is beyond my expectation with good location and friendly stuff. I do not feel any noise as described by other comment. It is a good choice to stay in St Malo. -
Great location inside the Old wall of St Malo. Has a garage which is a major plus and is in a quiet position but minutes from everything.

Room is big and clean, all daily necesities are available, bed is quite comfortable.
Reception staff very kind and helpfull, they gave us list of best local restaurants and advised which are the best - we tried 2 of 4 and both were perfect.
Parking is inside hotel and spaceous enough for big car.
Hotel located outside of old sity but it takes only 10-15 minutes walk and the route is going along seaside, so it is very pleasant.

Villa Esprit de Famille combines the best features of a hotel and a B and B. It's friendly and family run, comfortable and immaculately clean and set in the beautiful village of Rotheneuf, part of Saint-Malo. Rooms are spacious; breakfast is heavenly as they use local produce and Jean-Francois makes his own series of jams (I'd particularly recommend the apricot and rosemary!).
