We loved the room and the pool and the restaurant and the location - the
staff are friendly and create a great ambience. Special mentions to the
concierges Patrick & Ferdinand, to JeanLouis the sommelier, Guillame
the maitre d' and the musicians who entertain at night. Also the
room maids who do not wake you up early to clean the rooms! -

Bedrooms a bit small but beautifully decorated if you like oldfashioned furnishings.
The concierge very knowledge and keen to advise.
Very good spa but not many guest there during our stay.

Negresco is truly a five star hotel. At 100 years old, it hasn't missed a beat. It combines lovely antiques with spectacular contemporary art. It is a visual candy store. Upon arrival, which was very late at night we were shown to our room which only had twin beds. At once the receptionist apologised and asked us to wait in the room for a few minutes, while he went away to see if he could locate for us a double room. Upon his return he showed us to a magnificent Art Deco decorated double, which also included a glittery silver bath, plus we had a fantastic view of the Mediterranean. Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and
comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered
a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was
friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we
were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to
buy

Room interior was superb with great selection of bath amenities.
Gym was well equipped and pool facilities were extensive including steam room and sauna.

Very nice place 3 min from the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès or if
you prefer the beach or the Croisette... Huge apartment with two
jacuzzis, one in the master bathroom and one on the huge terrace. Very
friendly contact. Sound proof windows.

Le Grand Hotel in Cannes is a great hotel with warm and welcoming staff. The location is superb and the rooms were spacious and very clean. We loved it. And, this was at least our tenth trip to Cannes but a first at this hotel. We had a sea view and a city view room and they were both wonderful. Don't expect Las Vegas type of new super buildings.

Top of mountain with lots of small artsy shops that sell quality merchandise.
Romantic dining cliffside and a chef that will prepare what you want. Nice little nearby restaurants that have views and more simple fare for thos who wish to keep it simple. -
