  Splendid hotel, lots to like, and first and foremost must come the extremely friendly and accommodating staff that couldn’t have been more polite or helpful! Other than that the mountain view was excellent. The room was great with the wood panelled walls, fittings and furnishings giving it a chalet feel that we loved. The public areas looked quite interesting with various toys and artefacts sprinkled all over, includin - Everything about this hotel was surprisingly good, all thought the hotel is situated a short distance from the centre of Chamonix, the bus and train service (both stops located 100 mtrs from the hotel) is very good even on Holidays and weekends. Plus each guest gets issued with a free pass for both bus and train journeys in the valley for the duration of your stay, an added bonus, The rooms although small, compare very well with bigger chains of hotels as far as decor and facilities.
