  The setting was amazing. The log cabin was very bright and spacious. The location was good. Extremely luxurious for a lodge, log cabin at the price we paid. Wonderful to see and hear the wildlife around us. Although we didn't use the restaurant it was within the resort and appeared to have an excellent menu. The views from our bungalow were spectacular. The room was beautifully furnished and appointed. Every surface was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The restaurant made a fabulous breakfast buffet for a very good price and the staff could not have been more helpful. They even provided lemons and honey for my wife who caught a cold.

  Loved the self contained accommodation. It had plenty of room, was quiet and the outlay of the unit was excellent for a longer stay and the capacity to cook our own meals when required.   Wally our host was most helpful and knowledgeable with all the local sites and attractions. The Villas had all the mod cons and were well presented. Local wildlife surrounded the Villas with the odd bunny rabbit, cow, wombat and skippy or two. It was close to the Historic Port Arthur site. The room was comfortable, clean and it had everything we needed. It was nice to see and hear the animals in the morning and late afternoon. We would recommend it to anyone else going over there.

  Such a lovely location and view. The cottage was extremely comfortable, and the location was very convenient after spending the day at Port Arthur Historic Site. Denis was a wonderful host and was very helpful providing information about the area and places to visit. Overall fantastic place to stay, would highly recommend it! - We lived in a self-contained accomodation which inlcuded the cooking utensils. It also had air-con/heater. Everything was good during the stay. The cottage owner ,Denis, was so nice that he would recommend things to do in Tasmania. He sent us a email with all the useful information. It is also close to the Port Arthur Historic Site which takes around 5-minute driving.
