The rooms were comfortable, and quite spacious for families.
Everything was available for us in the room if we needed these facilities. Would certainly stay here again - hoping the hoons aren't around on the outside streets, and also the building next door will be finished! -

Great location, close to Canberra main attractions (Old and New Parliament House; National Gallery; National Library; Lake Burley Griffin). Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious apartment. Quiet and comfortable. Homely feel. Very close to a precinct with good restaurants, bar, supermarket etc. Felt like a place one could stay for two weeks and have a real holiday!

Lovely large room with 2 queen beds in the older part of the hotel (not sure if it was an upgrade). Luckily we had a ground floor room, as there were no lifts. Small but adequate bathroom. The hotel offers good facilities - comfy lounge and bar areas, heaps of parking and helpful staff. The location is excellent with easy access to the city via bus. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and to the War Memorial.

My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The facilities are basic, but it still has everything you need. It's still really close to Canberra, even though its in Watson. It was quiet too, which is abnormal for a place that obviously has a high turnover of guests. -

1) Over charged again - refund obtained.
2) Was not offered the room I booked but their most basic one - until I questioned this and they gave me the room booked. Kinda frustrating really - and I am not blaming the staff but the Rydges booking system.

The staff were VERY accommodating and allowed a late checkout at no extra cost. This was very helpful as it saved the hassle of waking up early after a long drive from melbourne. We had a toddler so the extra hour sleep-in was appreciated!

been charged to my credit card but was told that it not how letsbookhotel.com
works, which I know is not the case, so I hope I haven't been

The apartment was clean, spacious and the view was spectacular!
We were so close to all the places we wanted to visit Parliment House, The War Memorial and Shopping in the City.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for top accommodation in the city at a reasonable price.

The staff were exceptional. I had arrived in Canberra around 8am. I called into the Mantra at 10am asking if we could get an early check in. We had booked 2 rooms so I asked if we could be near each other. Not only did we get an early check of 12.30pm but also got a free upgrade with rooms side by side.

We liked this hotel a lot: very nicely furnished and equipped; friendly and helpful staff. We particularly appreciated that the room had crockery and cutlery and a decent table with two chairs, in addition to tea and coffee-making facilities. This made it very comfortable to have breakfast in the room with things we bought from a supermarket the day before. Excellent bathroom, too.

We were contacted to advise they had had a cancellation of a twin room on the high floor (as I had phoned after booking to request this if possible). Reservations most helpful. Our view to the lake was amazing and only 5 mins walk to the Floriade we had come to see. We had sliding doors to a narrow balcony which allowed us to get freshair into the room and further enjoy the city and lake views which also included the Telstra Tower on the far mountain.
