  Helpful & Friendly Staff Great Location, near shopping, restaurants and the port for cruise ships - The location on the main street in Ushuaia was great. Near the port. It was clean and bathroom was nice. It was cheaper relative to the other hotels in the area but still over priced.

  Staying at Hosteria Foike was a very pleasant experience. The bedroom was clean, confortable and charming. the breakfast was simple but also very good. Staff very friendly, helped us with everything, from money exchange to choosing what to do and where to eat. Even Bono (the pet dog) did it best to make us feel like we were at home.   The location is central, very close to Sant Martin street with many restaurants, gift shops and travel agencies, also close to the harbor. The hotel is clean,the room size wise is enough,for short stay with a tv and minibar. The receptionists are helpful for tour arrangements. Generally superb for price.

  We have to say this is the best Hotel Experience we had by far on any trip we have taken. We love the fact it is a Hotel/Apartment with a very nice kitchen so you have options. The owner and his wife were amazing and took care of us like we were a part of the family. If we ever make it back to Ushuaia we are 110% for sure going to stay in this Hotel, It w - Juan and his family provide a warm and welcoming home away from home with this inconspicuous hotel just a block or two off from the main drag. There is ample space, of which we thoroughly used, from the couch for lounging, to the kitchen to cook a meal for ourselves after eating out so much. The bathroom, while small, is recently renovated, clean, and functions perfectly. We had hot showers with good water pressure and no issues.
