I thought the hotel was beautiful, if I stay there again I'd try to upgrade to a balcony room. It was summer so the area was off-season and very quiet. The pool was wonderful and the courtyard was a great place to sit and relax. -

Bert serves an excellent breakfast and was very helpful providing hiking info. We relaxed for one hour in the hottub outside and shared one of Berts tastefull pizza's. A good place to stay! -

We stayed in the fall while looking at colleges in the area. While clearly geared for the ski crowd, it was convenient to Dartmouth, and an excellent value. We loved having a suite with kitchen for the price of a hotel room. To get to the supermarket in town was about a 10 minute drive. -

The breakfast had very good choices and everything was very good. The hot food was plentiful and the eating area was clean.The room was clean and the beds comfy. They also offered coffee and tea 24/7 and milk and fresh baked cookies at 8 pm. It was a very homey touch and proved to be quite popular with the guests. -

I loved being able to bring our dogs. I loved being able to walk straight from the car to the room. I loved the easy access to expressway and quaint Vermont town. I liked the friendly staff, natural setting, down-to-earth feel, and the price was a huge draw. Perfect for our road trip to catch a day of exquisite skiing before the season's end. -

The Motel’s restaurant Nippers Café served great food. We enjoyed our stay at the Stamford Motel and viewing the beautiful Vermont fall foliage.

I liked the view we had of teh Lake and I thought the staff was friendly
and extremley helpful. They stored my sons bike for him in a bagage room
that was locked up. We were able to walk to the stores,restaurants and
Bars. The cost to park the car wasn't bad 10 dollars and we
didn't have to take the car out till we left to take my son to
College.

We took a booking for a room "with lake views". What a
view!!! The hotel was well position for all sightseeing and eating
establishments. Staff were very friendly willing to help point out the
best in Burlington. The Manager was in the lobby on our last day
handing out freshley baked pastries-many thanks. Pool and spa were
clean and the house staff were fabulous and efficient. Cant fault the
hotel or location.

The room was charming, comforatble, and luxurious, in a separate 8 unit building at the rear of the complex, called the Mill House. It came with everything from a Keurig coffee maker to plush white bathrobes to be used after you hop out of the Jacuzzi tub, and a nice wide flat scree TV. We have stayed at the GMI many times over the past ten years and have never failed to be pleased. The staff are friendly, particularly Jane at breakfast who is our GMI hero - our kids have grown up looking forward to seeing her cheery face. She always remembers us, our dogs, our stories. It's just like home from home and it's immaculately taken care of. We love our visits and are already working on our next one.

We were in Burlington for a wedding so this was a great place to stay for that. We weren't in the room that much other than to sleep - good location for the town in Burlington. We walked in one day which is fine but better to get a taxi. Bed was comfortable and the TV had loads of good stations. Breakfast was basic but fine. -

The family that runs the inn are just wonderful, Kate has the two cutest little boys you could ever imagine -- Sam who is only 15 mos old came out at breakfast to hand us all our cutlery. laid back and friendly, and the room was spacious and spotless -- loved having the little mini kitchen too.
