The staff was quite helpful, and the manager seemed to have the solution to any issue that came up at her fingertips. It was a quite pleasant trip thanks to her, and the whole staff was focused on making sure we were satisfied the whole time. Oh, and EVERY local restaurant they recommended was awesome! -

the owners went out of their way to be helpful. They helped us with unpacking the car and moved us to a lovely, big first floor room as my hubby has difficulty with stairs. I felt welcome and comfy! -

Old building but hotel has been refurbished superbly. Very nice
bathroom. We were impressed with the large tv, full coffee machine,
large drinks fridge, and a microwave which we've never seen in a
hotel before. Location is excellent to attractions and cafes and
restaurants. Parking right across the street and discounted once
validated by the hotel

Susan on the front desk at night and Natasha on the front desk during
the day. I lost my iphone at a tourist site. A person at site returned
the phone to Rodeway Inn when Natasha was on duty. She accepted it and
put it away. Susan answered when my friend rang the cell phone. This
meant I was able to establish where it was and collect it. I was so very
pleased! Thank you gals! BBFs!

We had a problem with the first hotel we booked on this trip and they would not do anything to help us fix it. We decided not to give them our business and went here instead. The staff here was great, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. True, the hotel is a little dated, but it was very clean and very well maintained. -

of the rooms did a excellent job thanks Bill. Another person work at
night I did not get his name but a big gentlemen he was very helpful and

This motel has gone through some major renovation since I was there last
in 2007. wow, what a make over. All rooms new floors, walls, furniture,
beds, bath and no smell. They have a new access road that is much more
convenient then turning off the off ramp. I missed it the first time and
it took me 1 hour to get back to the entrance to the motel.

I liked the uncarpeted flooring in our room (laminate?--couldn't tell). It was beautiful, and I liked the fact that we didn't have to worry about carpeting harboring fleas in this pet-friendly motel. Also liked the fact that for the first time in a long time, our no-smoking room really didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The king size bed was comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, and the price was pretty good.

Great location for visiting downtown scranton at a fraction of the price of the big chain hotels. It's in walking distance of everything.
We've stayed there (under different franchise names) for more than 25 years on many visits to Scranton. -
I believe those who leave a questionable comment about this hotel are
not taking into consideration the

I have stayed their for years. I prefer to stay in newer rooms but I like the location and I've always been treated nice. -

The fridge was a nice size with a real freezer and the microwave was full size. It made it easy to feed our kids snacks and meals in the room. The pool was small but a great temperature and indoors so you could use it when it rained. It was clean and conveniently located for our large group of travelers. -

Easy access to highway, quiet, comfortable room. This is an older facility but is kept very clean which to me is most important. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to I-83. Rooms away from Interstate were quiet. Great host, very helpful, knew the area roads and restaurants. Clean towels every day! Microwave and fridge definitely a plus.
