  When we arrived, they were unloading brand new mattresses for all the rooms...Nice! It's a newly renovated hotel going for the "boutique" category. I'd say they were a success with that effort. Very nice ambience, with a full bar/wine dispenser center, and a great buffet breakfast! Self-parking was reasonable (for SF standards) just around the co... ce que les gens disent » rner. I'd definitely stay again! - I thought it was very elegant, clean and in a great location. The room was very large, had a comfortable bed, and all the amenities I needed for an excellent stay.

  We appreciate their great service and friendly staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable -- great pillows! We and many others enjoyed the wine that was served every evening in the lobby between 5:00 - 6:00 PM. It is a beautiful historic holel with a museum and a great restaurant. - Fantastic location, close to all attractions.   Location cannot be beaten, for access to Fisherman's Wharf (one entrance is right on the wharf), with the tram stop right across from this entrance, car hire a few metres down the road, and the cable car a block away. Staff were helpful, and very reasonable when I needed assistance with arranging a pre-paid reservation. The hotel is clean. Very convenient to wharf and other attractions. Thomas in reception was so helpful on the phone when we were on the way in traffic and trying to find out fastest way to get to hotel and on to pier 33 for our Alcatraz night tour. They also helped us book an airport shuttle for one person in our party.
