I liked that we were feet away from the surf. I didn't have to cross bridges over dunes or walk hundreds of feet to get to the beach. I was able to sit on my balcony every morning and watch the sun come up and watch the waves. The room had a retro feel which suited me just fine. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant, The location was convenient and you could not beat the ocean front view. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food was some of the finest I have every eaten. This is one of my favorite places to stay on the Outer Banks.

There were three men that really help my boyfriend and I. One is TJ, my boyfriend and I had problems with our vehicle he really helped us with that and followed all the way through with it until he knew that we were able to leave safely, he went above and beyond his job.

Exceptional staff; Every single person we interacted with was very pleasant, responsive and friendly. Fast WIFI and the view on the ocean side was fabulous. Lots of parking and very convenient to most of the OBX hotspots.

We got to this hotel with lesser then great expectations since the price was so much lower then other beach front hotels. But we traveling with 2 dogs and needed a location close to our next destination that allowed them to stay with us. The Room itself was located right on the beach, we had a second level room that had the most amazing view. We had close to room parking for our vehicle and the hotel was very accomadating for dogs and families. And also the free complimentary breakfast was

The Outer Banks Inn was wonderful! The location is within walking
distance to the beach, and located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. The
hotel was clean, and our room was cleaned quickly every day. There were
plenty of towels in the room, and the breakfast downstairs every morning
was very nice! We will definitely be staying again next year!! -

The staff was absolutely wonderful-the definition of customer service! From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were staying at someone's home instead of a hotel. The hotel is a bit small, but it is very quaint, and it's within walking distance to the beach. Several shopping centers are nearby as well.

I was very pleased with every aspect . I knew nothing about it and was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find everyone extremely friendly & helpful. The facility was very clean, we were right on the beach, price could not have been better for a 2 bedroom apt. (1 rm. hotel would have cost more).Would recommend it and certainly look forward to staying there again.

Location (right on the beach); staff (gave us a $10 discount because the room we asked for had a maintenance issue); recommend any room above the ground floor with balcony (ground floor looks out at dune, 1st floor looks over the sand dune); nice pool, between hotel and ocean (on dune); nice breakfast. fridge/microwave in room. at $95/night, on the beach, definitely off season rates- tremendous value.
