My wife and I wanted a relaxing stay at a hotel that has a great reputation not only for comfort but price as well. We chose the Microtel and booked a jacuzzi tub suite. We were not disappointed. As in earlier reviews, the room was decorated in pleasing colors and decor. The staff was very helpful to make our stay pleasant. -

This was an eye-opening experience, and we will be looking for Microtels now in our future travels!

We stayed one night and it was great price. The staff was friendly. We left something in the room and checked-out. Called back and they had it, we went back to pick-up our item. Very honest group of people. Enjoy our stay very much! -

The hotel was clean and quiet and located in a good area for a visit to JMU. We stayed here for homecoming weekend 2013. -

We wanted to stay in the Shenandoah National Park, but everywhere was booked up; booked the Hampton instead. What luck! The Park was closed due to the Federal shutdown, so the Hampton Inn made a great central base for visiting the area. Rooms are huge, and the lounge area similar. There is complimentary coffee/tea and cookies in the lounge anytime

The room was spacious and clean. Appreciated their policy on clean linens, including duvet covers,for each guest stay. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly, thoughtful and helpful.

That they permit our dog to stay with us. He traveled by car and was very welcome by the staff.
It was very clean and comfortable. They have recently gotten new mattresses etc.Easy access and good directions from the interstate 81. I will stay again as my sister lives in Bridgewater and I'll travel to Florida when I retire in January. -

I especially liked the attitude of the desk clerk. He was very helpful and accommodating. I also like the fact that my room (416) was truly a non-smoking room. The morning breakfast was way above average and the attendant was more than helpful. -

Room was immaculate and in excellent condition; roomy.
Bed very comfy.
Bathroom in excellent condition and had a spa-bath.
WiFi feature, dorm-size fridge and microwave in the room; porch out the back door.
Breakfast was great - nice variety, great service.
Front desk staff (innkeepers): very welcoming and accommodating.
