The location was excellent. the front desk starting with Christian, he always explianed how to get to our destination and he even wrote directions and marked on the map. i needed an extra room and he was always accomodating. We enjoyed our stay ,Staff was friendly & very accomodating,Bed was extremely comfortable ..& there were no surprises..The room was exactly what it said.. yes it was small ,but we were aware of that when we booked..For a room in this area we definately got what we needed at a resonable price...we had a great trip..& we would stay there again....

everything u could ask for. Everything !! short walk to the #1 subway
line which takes u all the way down to battery park. There are
housing projects directly behind thebuilding, but there was no
trouble at all & that just added to the whole atmosphere of
staying in ny. They put on several events on each day & night so
u get to meet a lot of other travelers & explore in a group.

It was a very pleasant place to stay: a large separate bedroom for the parents, a very large living room including three beds for the kids and a very convenient kitchen block (including free coffee). My room was in the Victorian Row house which was a few blocks up from the main location. I liked how insanely comfy the beds were. After a long flight and arriving late, its all you want and more than exceeded my expectations. Also liked that there was a kitchen that I could use so I could have a cup of tea when I got in from traipsing the streets all day. Our favorite aspect of the room was the bathroom with both a deep
soaking tub and a lovely shower with hand held spray. This latter
feature is often omitted in even many nicer hotels. Of course the marble

quiet for nyc. Of course, the staff was as pleasant as could be. -
The staff were ALL extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very large and extremely nice. The shower was amazing and had great water pressure. The bed was deliciously comfortable. Even though our room overlooked Madison Avenue, it was very quiet. In short, it was wonderful!!

We really liked the Belnord's location. It is in a quiet street
close to Central Park, in the Upper West Side. It is only one block away
from the subway station where Line 3 takes you all the way to Lower
