  We paid a bit more and had a river view - well worth the money. You could sit and watch the water rushing by and the birds flying over and the ground squirrels looking for food: nature on your doorstep. The pool was lovely and refreshing on a hot day. The waitress service was friendly and helpful. - The location. Super close to yosemite national park, very easy for us. Friendly staff, everyone was helpful, especially the guy at the supermarket. He is super friendly. The food is excellent. We had breakfast everyday and its reasonable and yummy. Loved the swimming pool as well. Very handy after a hot day hiking. The balcony facing the river is great. Shame we didn't see any bears.

  Rooms are big and comfortable and very clean.Our room faced the mountain so in front of our door there was a niceand quiet space with tables, chairs and umbrellas to rest after the day in Yosemite.The location is ok 6 miles to the enntrance to the Park, but I would prefer to stay in the Park as it took more than half an hour of driving to reach ... ce que les gens disent » Visitors car park.There is shop and a restauarant and a bar, so you can get everything what you need - first of all staff is excellent well trained overall ...food and beverage operation is run by the same guy at Yosemite view and Cedar Lodge above average in all regards menu won't win any awards but very well priced.during the day seems to be a lot of staff kind of hanging around but I'd rather err on that side...two poles in a river option makes it a awesome place for 2 to 3 days even without the closest approximation to Yosemite Valley
