Being that I was traveling alone, I felt safe in an area I knew nothing about. Security person was very friendly. And I needed to be at airport early in the morning. After speaking to the friendly driver he was there early in the morning to make sure I made my flight on time! :) -

Room was clean and simple but had everything needed - iron, ironing board, WIFI, hair dryer, coffee maker, good bed, large refrigerator, stove, microwave. Location was quiet and very convenient - close to I-10 and a short drive from downtown. Excellent rates. -

The manager was really friendly, I believe his name was louis. I stayed
at the sweets inn for mardi gras. He was always willing to call a cab
for me and my boyfriend. The person that stayed before us had stolen the
key for our room but the manager was always right there to unlock our
room and let us in. I would recommend this hotel. I didn't feel

IF you are a guy (ladies would not feel comfortable here) simply looking for a place to sleep and don't care about amenities, this place will do. I slept well, it's 50 feet away from the bus stop ($3 all day travel pass), it cost 1/3 what convention center rooms cost and the management was helpful. Duke
