  This hotel looks down over the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye and is only two blocks from city centre shopping and restaurants. The guest house is beautifully renovated. The bed was so comfy. The view from our window towards the bay was amazing. Staff were excellent as was the restaurant. It also has a nice pub within. The accomodations were a little over our budget, but well worth it. - We found the Marmalade hotel perfect for our short trip to Portree. We are a family with children aged 9 and 10 and the family room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a small walk out of the town of Portree and has lovely views. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!

  The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general. Although some people had wrong drinks brought to their table and food from the kitchen was slow for some. It was dog friendly and the staff were really accommodating. I would stay again but wo... ce que les gens disent » uld eat and drink elsewhere. - Beautiful setting right on the harbor on the Isle of Skye. Room looked out onto the harbor, stunning view. The room was furnished nicely and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was reasonably priced and was very good. All of the staff were extremely courteous and helpful.
