  Very lovely country house set in a quiet remote place next to a loch.The decoration is very refined in a modern Scottish style. The satff wasvery friendly. The dinner was great (all fresh and tasty). - Everything,it was perfect!

  I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... ce que les gens disent » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

  I had asked for quiet rooms, and it was quiet and I slept well. The manager was very helpful to me with Directions etc. The meal was lovely and the prices reasonable. The location of the Hotel was perfect. We will hopefully go again next year. Reasonable rate for single occupancy. - It does not look great on the photos but it's quite nice.   The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general. Although some people had wrong drinks brought to their table and food from the kitchen was slow for some. It was dog friendly and the staff were really accommodating. The room was furnished nicely and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was reasonably priced and was very good.
