Really enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were very friendly and check-in was very easy. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. TV with loads of channels, tea/coffee, iron, hair-dryer, alarm clock and phone.
Bathrooms usually have bath with shower over but I have had a room with just the shower which is fine for me. Towels are really big and fluffy which earns brownie points from me.
Bar area is comfy and bar staff lovely. Had lunch here which was very tasty altho a bit pricey for a sandwich
I only used restaurant for breakfast

I liked how they sorted out the over booking problem my girlfriend had
persuaded them about a few things but it was sorted with ease didn't

During my booking I added a note to say that I intended to propose during my stay.
When we arrived at the hotel the staff advised that they'd upgraded us to a business class suite on the top floor. The room and the view was fantastic. Champagne was sent up and it set the scene perfectly to pop the question.

As we walked in the young lady on the reception was very polite and
helpful the position of the hotel was excellent there is no parking but
we parked in the st davids centre directly opposite the hotel and were
there for 20hrs and it only cost £11 if you dont want to take your car
the train station is only a 5 minute walk the room was really nice and
facilities were very good already planing another stay at the ibis
would reccomend value for money especially as it was only a 2 minute
walk into

The staff were excellent, very friendly and great service. We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system. Unsure about booking after reading some reviews, but chose the hotel because of the location to the CIA. Worries were unfounded. Room was comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

sphThis hotel was ideally located. Withing walking distance of Millenium stadium (purpose of our visit). was a pleasure to walk into such a comfortable,bright and pleasant bed room. As for the Holland House in Cardiff i was a fantastic experience, with great facilities and lovely rooms! 10 out of 10!

We had an amazing stay. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The hotel is very well located, just a ten minutes walk away from Cardiff city centre. Lots of restaurants and amenities close by. The hosts, James and Maria were most hospitable and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, very comfortable and very quiet. The included continental breakfast was varied and excellent quality and the optional hot breakfast was delicious. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff. My stay was on a weekend when the Welsh rugby team were playing so it was a busy weekend in the City centre.
I arrived at 7.30pm on Saturday and even though I arrived at what seemed a busy time in their restaurant/bar I was greeted with a hello by smiling and courteous members of staff and checked in promptly.

Fantastic, well appointed accommodation. We were lucky enough to have a south-west facing apartment overlooking the river and enjoyed each evening with a bottle of wine on the balcony. Cardiff is such a small city by square miles that really any location is
a good location. Our apartment was a 5 minute walk to Mermaid Quay which
is very family friendly yet also accommodates a young nightlife. We
walked over their both nights and found many options to eat and drink
at. Overall the apartment was in good condition and our contact person
was very responsive to emails and phone calls.
