Great rooms we had three rooms the penthouse, sea view and a double without a view,
Lovely friendly staff so helpful best staff I've met at a hotel in a long time!
Fab location close to everything the pier, restaurants and nightlife!
Penthouse has a great lounge area to sit and socialise with friends, we travelled as two couples and a friend (we are all straight not that it matters to us what so ever)

I thought it would be awful based on the reviews here but was so
pleasently suprised. The staff were great. The rooms are budget
accomadation with far better facilities than a hostel. You get your own
toilet and shower, tv, towels, full length mirror and tea facilities.
For the price they charge you are really getting a bargain. I would stay
again

Cost effective for a group of lads who would only be using the room to shower and sleep.
Made to feel welcome and provided facilities to store our bikes.
We got what we paid for which was a room with a television, tea/coffee facilities, comfortable beds and a en-suite bathroom with a decent shower.
The hotel was near the seafront so not far to walk to find somewhere to eat and drink.

Everything! communal aera with tea,coffee, water and fruit for guests. You dont have to book in at reception! The beds are spotless and comfortable. We visit Brighton several times each year; this was our first stay at
the Granville. Excellent location at a very reasonable price. We stayed
in 'Lewes', a small room, very nicely designed (with an emphasis
on glass blocks) and furnished. It was next to the lift (elevator) but
we were not at all disturbed by operating noise. Staff were charming an

Boutique feel with themed rooms. It would be nice to have an option of which themed room you get and to see the options online - probably possible if you call them up though.
Jacuzzi in the Sea-view rooms works a treat!
American style diner below (room service available). Huge portions in the sharing platters.

Very welcoming and clean. Lovely building with decor to complement it.
Owner was very nice and interested in what we had planned. If we needed
a taxi he went out of his way to get us one. Vegetarians were also
catered for with the breakfast. We were able to buy parking permits and
park right outside the hotel which was less than half the price of

I liked the power shower / the continental breakfast was value for
money at £5 / my bed was comfortable and the television was near the
bed and easy to use / coffee was available in my room which was
thoughtful and shampoo/cream/bodywash and towels were provided
which was immensely useful

Our host, Gail & Peter, were very welcoming and helpful with maps, pointing out places of interest to visit, access to the different transportation. Kemp Townhouse is exactly as described on the web site. It is a beautiful guest house which oozes taste, character & sophistication from the moment you walk through the front door.
