when I booked this resort I pictured where it was as we have been to koh tao before, but we were pleasantly surprised. koh tao royal has its restaurant on a very beautiful piece of beach, with lots of shade trees with great snorkeling and swimming. the staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome, the bungalows are behind the restaurant

The resort is located exactly by the sea in the beautiful unspoilt nature although it is not far from the centre. No motorbike or cars' noise only birds and the sound of the sea. The service and the staff was perfect they do everything in favour of the guests. I will definitely go back in the future. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Amazing place to stay! Great location to beach and cheap and easy to rent motorbike. View from rooms are great. Staff was out of this world friendly and helped out navigating us around the Island. Couldn't of been a better experience. -

Free transfer from the pier to the hotel. Nice hotel, clean, beautiful pool and just next to a lovely bay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant services good food and everything is fresh. -

Nice place to go for snorkling with children older than 7 years. Resort has its own way to the sea, which is very good for snorkling if the weather allows (low wind, small waves). Had an absolutely great. Chin was brilliant. Check-in and check-out was smooth. The breakfast was simple, but had everything you need to start the day. Most amazing bunk beds, they are part of a purpose built locker/bed combo the result being you could jump on one bed and the other would not move. Good Dream Hostel is actually the most comfortable hostel I was staying in so far. The bed was comfy, they change the sheets if you ask, clean the room 2 times a day. There are small shelves for each bed, so you can pack out some of your stuff and feel like home *which is great if you are staying there longer. Staff was friendly and talkative. Location is good

Really nice! The beach is gorgeous, we did snorkel every day, using the hotel equipment that was borrowed at no charge at it was good quality, but next time we will buy and take our own, so you don't have to run for it every morning. We loved everything! It is a perfect place to be. We stayed 3 nights in a castaway villa - P e r f e c t! the closest to the beach you can get. The design is simple and beautiful. You can relax on the soffa on the terrace just about 7 steps from the water.
The grounds very green&peacefull and I believe that even if you are not staying in a castaway villa you will enjoy great views. We didnt try the pool (since the beach is perfect), but it seems OK, not too big.

Koh Tao has been ranked as one of the world's top islands to visit and coming to this resort proved so. The island was so close to Bangkok and the resort was professionally run. Facing with the full view of the ocean, the room was well organized and clean. The staff were well attentive to provide the best service they could.
