  Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, me and my wife have been in many places of the world, but this experience was the best by far. The hotel has an excellent location, right on the picturesque Prinsengracht canal surrounded by boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Te owner Martin was fantastic, and very helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms, were very spacious, elegant - The location and views from the suite could not be bettered. The suite itself was large,spotless,very comfortable,warm and with excellent ensuite facilities. The manager,Thomas,was incredibly welcoming,helpful and spoke perfect English. He also prepared an excellent breakfast which was eaten overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend and without doubt would return. Thank you Thomas for all your help. Robert and Joyce.

  We recently stayed 3 nights at the Palace B+B and loved every minute of it! I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

  The host, Pieter, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area, especially the neighborhood, and was able and willing to show me things that aren't in the travel books. The neighborhood, the Jordaan, is very walkable to just about any place in Amsterdam and the bus connections are pretty much around the corner. Instead of a chandelier, for example, there is a rack of reindeer antlers hanging from the ceiling. - The room was big and wonderfully decorated. Highlight was the bed which was super duper comfortable. Location is good within walking distance of all the major sights and close to 2 different tram stations. Room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and kettle. Hence perfect for getting ansy storing some food in your room. The owner is very sweet and helpful.
