My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many
hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at
the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a
sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were
wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable. The food

The most important thing I have noticed aside from the beautiful nature,
is the friendly staff. From the moment we reach the airport and a young
smiley man called Azmil as far as I remember who gave us a gray
information about what to Do, and once we reached the resort we have
been met by another very smiley and friendly Angung who took us to make

It was a great experiance at the TAJ - Rebak Island resort from the time of check -in to our check-out- every thing was taken care so well, the staff at TAJ is amazing and so Hospitable, especially their Guest service Relations Executive MS. Pantea Rodd who took care of me and my family requets.. would highly recommend this property and would love to come back and stay @ TAJ Rebak Island Resort !!!

We liked everything! This is an amazing place to stay, and thoroughly
relaxing. Each 'room' is a little house on stilts with its own
balcony. Each one is unique. We liked having the very friendly cats
around, Scrabble to play and a pool to swim in. Breakfast in your fridge
makes for an extra relaxing stay (no schedule to stick to). We also like

-My daughter cried when we left! We loved this visit to Langkawi. the Bon Ton was absolutely gorgeous with every attention to detail. I loved the room with the outside bath, my daughter loved the cats and helped out in the mornings at the animal sanctuary near by. The view over the water hole was particularly beautiful at sunset, and in the morning there were monitor lizards and kingfishers. The free cocktails and snacks were a lovely touch and the staff were most happy to accomodate my request

Our room facing sea and hotel club house with swimming pool...very awesome view. Nicely located with lots of food stalls every where l think more then 10, so you have lots of choice. Its kind of castle type, l feel like heritage decoration...very nice for me. Its a good selection for those looking something different. -

The location. If you stayed in the rooms which is facing the sea, oh my its such a wonderful place with a great view of the sea, the yachts and also the nearby islands. Do request for rooms facing the sea if you plan to stay there.

The hotel is a 25 minute ( 22KM ) drive from the airport.
To be honest, the room is not so great. But it does its job o -
Swimming Pool with slides makes the stay memorable for the kids. Kids love the pools.
The seaview scenery facing Kuah jetty so breathtaking during sunrise and sunset.
Staff are friendly and reliable as well. My mum accidently left her shopping items in the hotel room. The hotel housekeeping staff were honest and kept our items for later collection.
The water pressure is good.
They even have a big filtered water station (hot and cold) which is really convenience for the hotel guess.

Stayed at Bayview Hotel for 4 days.. We were greeted when we arrived at the hotel lobby and the staff helped us with the luggage..
My family and I were very happy upon checking in the hotel room.. Room was clean, tidy and neat.. We stayed at the 12th floor facing the sea view and the view was awesome..
As for breakfast, the food served were average.. Not much variety..
There's a bazaar in front of the hotel and you can find cheap souvenirs there..

The buffet breakfast is one of the best in comparison to many 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. Very fresh, excellent variety, really amazing all around. The bed is extremely comfortable, the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful. There were a couple of minor instances that I had to raise my concern about, however the Guest Relations Manager (Jana Zahranova) was very courteous, professional and helpful. I can only highly recommend the Westin Langkawi.

I liked this hotel so much! very relaxing place, very polite people. 100% enjoyed staying in it. Nice swimming pool and very close to beach and beside beach is a small bar, everything done for fantastic rest. And also loved massage done by professionals, felt super after each massage.

Absolutely fabulous! Perfect beach location for relaxing family holiday, plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly service without being intrusive, the staff always happy and smiling. Food outstanding at the restaurant and pool side, breakfast good with plenty choice and good coffee. The resort and rooms are clean and well maintained, security courteous and professional. Well done Frangipani for brilliant team effort to provide us with a perfect family holiday!

Very clean and elegant rooms (for the price), super friendly and helpful

The hotel staffs were very accommodating with our requests. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. I accidentally left my external hard disk in the hotel and the staff/housekeeping were very responsive when I called and explained my dilemma. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately.
