  Fantastic location! Right up in the mountains, had to drive along an amazing road to get there. The hotel is right at the entrance of the Gorropu Canyon which is absolute must (though I recommend that unless you are very fit you take the jeep transfer back up). There are some very good agriturismos nearby for food but the restaurant at the hotel is not only convenient but very ta - This is a great place to stay if you are interested in more than just sitting in the beaches of Sardinia. Perfect for the Goroppu canyon and other hikes and also good to discover the greater area by car. It is also a good place to start your hike to some of the remote beaches of the East coast. Simple, but clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Great to sit on the terrace in the evening when the air cools down a bit because of the mountains (early August). Must be nice in other seasons as well.
