  Stayed for two nights in this unspoilt part of Italy. If you're looking for a genuinely picturesque village in an incredible setting Fontecchio is it! The bedroom was charming, spacious and clean with a spectacular view. We were there mid-May but it hadn't stopped raining yet (summer late this year) so we missed the spectacular flower show that th - 16th Century town - cobbled streets and very quiet and beautiful. Very tastefully restored house - obvious labour of love and in keeping with the original character of the building. Our hosts were really lovely and very welcoming and helpful.
