  The hotel is situated in a very nice area of the town and just a few steps from the small centre. Most of the houses in the neighbourhood are private houses (I think) and yoiu do'nt feel like being in a tourist place. - location the owner does a good job considering she seemed to be single handed

  Excellent hotel close to the centre of the town. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Even got a little parting gift from the manager/owner when we left which was a very nice touch. Food in the hotel was fabulous with a beautiful four course meal each evening.   First of all extremely kind, helpful and friendly hostess. That makes our staying in a hotel very comfortable and convinient. Great service. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel located in 50 meters to first ski bus stop to Col Rodella ski lift. Many rooms got a balcoon with mountain view. 1.2 km to cable railway. 10 mins on foot. 100m to ski bus stop. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking outside.

  Elena is absolutely delightful! So pleasant, so knowledgable about all details of the surrounding mountain recreational facilities, towns, shopping, etc. and so forthcoming and eager to help. She called several Rifugios to facilitate overnight stays. The lodging is newly renovated (a terrific job!), homey and very comfortable. Location is excellent, with easy access to all the major resort towns and passes in the Val de Fassa, Grupo Sella, - It was a great place to stay, very clean, super friendly staff, 5 min car ride to campetello where there is main skiing lift.   We have spent a week in March at Hotel Alaska during our skiing vacation. The hotel definitely met our expectations, and actually exceeded them with regards to food (best tiramisu ever! :) and welness facilities, that is much bigger than seems from the homepage - and always kept in perfect condition. We loved the hotel was full of Italians (and no... ce que les gens disent » any organized groups) as it only added to the atmosphere. The personel was always extremely friendly and added to this relaxing, family like athosphe - Just stayed at the Hotel Alaska for a week after booking the last rooms as they were available with short notice! Great choice, must say that the place is family friendly, offers great service, facilities are good and clean! They do make an effort to provide good service! Will be coming back. And the skiing was great despite long cues in the early morning to get up in the terrain.
