  Mostly the staff of the hotel the receptionests were very pleasant and friendly, so were the bar staff , the management , and the cleaning staff all in all it was a very pleasant exprience - staff is great,excellence, great breakfast,an excellent choice, would choose the great for your travels.

  Ah, Maria, the owner was just wonderful; couldn't do enough for us (with 2 other guys for cycling trip through Turkey). A wonderful place to stay; rooms were very large and comfortable. Good WiFi in the room. Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights at the hotel.   Very grand, old, and reasonably tastefully designed hotel with very friendly and helpul staff. Room was large and comfortable.   This hotel has a marvellous view over the harbour from the dining room, and although our room was at the back it was overlooking Ermou Street which was most interesting and probably quieter.   I liked the great location of this hotel just across the ferry port. Also the staff is friendly, helpful and some of them can speak Turkish in addition to their excellent English. I liked the harbour view from the room.
