  We liked the authenticity of the Castle. The staff made us feel special. They were well educated on the food, wine, history of the area. Also very accommodating when it came to luggage needs. There was no language barrier, as all staff spoke english. I highly recommend this site as a "special" place to stay - Very friendly staff and always ready t... ce que les gens disent » o assist. Porter service to get luggage from parking to the castle is great as the person brought the bags to our rooms (tower rooms). Staff checked us in at 12(noon) and very accomodating with an infant.

  Loved the building - big rooms with comfortable old furniture looking out on attractive street with half-timbered houses and hotel bar in small garden. Glimpse of the Rhine 50 yards away. Easy to find. Smallish supermarket nearby which made it easy for us to buy food and picnic on the banks of the Rhine.   This hotel was very clean. Our room was a suite on the top floor it had a beautiful bed and fun star lights in the ceiling. The view from our room was good. The hotel staff was very helpful.   It is a very nice hotel, good location next to the marketplace in Oberwesel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms clean. We loved the design of the tap in the bathroom! Very unusual, we want the same at home!   The owner went out of her way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.
