  This Chambres d'Hote is the best we have ever stayed in. The whole atmosphere was amazing. The owners were absolutely delightful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was all you could wish for, fresh bread, cereals, jams, cheeses and fabulous coffee or chocolate.   Lovely clean gite, in a quiet courtyard setting. The clock bells do not ring all night - we heard nothing between 10pm and 8am. Friendly owner who speaks some English. Fantastic breakfasts were the highlight - all homemade, definitely worth 10 euro! Very nice village to explore.

  This was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. The host was very 'French' and friendly- and was very interested in the reason for our visit-particularly with regard to the 'Australian' service in the 1st and 2nd ww. Paid particular attention to thank us as Australian for coming back to support the friendship. The Chateau was very interestin... ce que les gens disent » g-late 1700's and set in beautiful gardens wich were period french. - The building, set in a courtyard behind old wrought iron gates was like a small stately home with wonderfully large spacious elegant rooms and a real sense of grandeure throughout. The extensive lawns to the rear were in need of a little TLC but in a way the slightly abandoned look to the wooden tables and chairs set beneath an old tree added to the atmosphere of the place.
