  The owner was WONDERFUL , she was so kind caring and interested in making our stay comfortable. We in fact got lost trying to find the place in the dark , called her, and she actually drove out to where we were and escorted us to the place. We are talking above and beyond normal care. It is adjacent to an old chapel with a working belltower ( how cool! ) Her br - Fabulous and slightly quirky accommodation (had junior suite); beautifully laid out site, tranquil & easy on eye; home-grown fruits/home- made jam with breakfast; wonderful hospitality - never encountered such a helpful hostess; local restaurant - French gourmet cooking at its best. Will definitely be going there again - one night was too short!

  Christiane has turned her home into B&B and is an exceptional hostess, going far beyond what I would have expected. I was traveling without a car and she offered to pick me up at the bus stop in Giverny, drove me to a restaurant that night in La Roche-Guyon and picked me up, as well as driving me to Giverny, and all the way to Vernon when it ... ce que les gens disent » was pouring rain to be sure to I made it to the train on time. She serves fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast, cheese, yogurt, croissants and b - the owner was so welcomig as was her lovely dog. the little gite we had was lovely, clean and well decorated, we had supper in the garden after christina had taken us to the supermarket to buy food as the village was a little to far gor us to get to late on in the evening. she also took us to the monet gardens the following morning, she was so helpful, breakfast was also lovely. a joy to stay there.

  L'Oree is a beautiful, modern b'n'b located in the countryside just outside Giverny. It is a 2 minute drive to Monet sites and 5 minutes to Vernon. M and M Werth are the owners; very accommodating. Breakfast excellent. Room was very modernly designed, spacious, and could accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Would definitely stay th - L'Oree de Giverny was a lovely B&B minutes from Monet's gardens in Giverny. Located by fast flowing river, we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The village of Giverny can be very crowded during the day. We had a large bedroom and bath, with all the comforts of home. Our hosts the Werth's were very helpful and gave us good advice as to visiting the area and fixed a decious breakfast that featued local food. Visiting gardens was very special and our stay at L'Oree de Givery equally special!

Owners were on holiday but Jacqui looked after us very well.We met her at the gate at 5pm punctually. Home made jams for bread and croissants for breakfast plus fruit and yoghurt. A lovely little complex with bikes available.

The bus-stop to go to Giverny and Vernon is right near the property (but only a couple of buses a day) and very convenient. Lovely small garden with balcony. We travelled all over France with car. We used this place as a base for Monet garden and also a three day Paris trip(parked our car on a good parking directly by the Vernon train station).
