great stay - spacious apartament with quite well equipped kitchen (but no kettle available!), close to the rocky beach, quiet (provided you like countryside noise of neighbouring rooster, we did :-)).
Very friendly staff.
Rovinj is delightful, our best in Istria. -

Rovinj is a lovely town - we enjoyed walking around and seeing all the wonderful art.
The hotel was comfortable and all the staff helpful and friendly. A good value as well. -

The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The property has a beautiful garden, a very good restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a playground for children. Just outside Pula at Pjescana Uvala. Large older style apartment above the family's house, real wood not plastic. Very large terrace with full views over beach, harbour & islands. Very good clean safe beach & restaurants. Short bus ride from Pula which is also nice with island boat trips & a roman arena, etc. Owner met me from airport & showed me round Pula. On arrival fed by Mama's home made pancakes soaked in local liqueur ! The whole area is clean, good food & wine &

The owners were very friendly and even though we arrived late (at 3 a.m.!!) because we had car problems, they didn't seem to have a problem with it.
The apartment was really nice and quiet with a small terrace, the bed big and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. -

Modern design, a beautiful view of the sea, and an amazing breakfast make this chic hotel stand out as the #1 in Pula. It only had 10 rooms so our every need was catered to and the staff was so lovely! -
We got a room with a sea view. Fantastic room. We both said wow when we opened the door. Nice also to have the indoor pool. Very relaxing.

The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. Extremely friendly, helpful and very professional English speaking staff. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.
