The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The area the hotel is in is newly renovated and is safe to walk around freely during days and nights.

The hotel is charming. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and
accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom
were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location
of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy
shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk.
Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.

Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador. For taxis we recommend to use the hotel contact. -

Location was excellent, in the heart of Pelhourhino. Even though accommodation reflected the historic nature of the buildings and area (basic and old fashioned) it added to the feel of being in an historic, authentic location.
We had a room which adjoined a communal terrace with fantastic sea views and ideal for enjoying a late night drink.

Hotel rates were resaonable and the hotel itself was in good condition. Don´t expect caviar but the basics were good. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Location was pretty good although not on the beachfront. -

Staff is AMAZING! Simple hotel, no luxuries, but clean, close to banks, pharmacy, shopping mall, and one block from the beach. Plenty of transportation to everywhere. Simple but tasteful breakfast included in price. Would stay there again. I found this hotel last minute, when changing from a bad one I had reserved. Felt very welcome and supported

The appartmet is pretty large comfortable clean and safe it is very near from everything you can need: beach shops restaurants the lighthouse the Barra shopping center with internet point and where you can exchange money much more better than in the airport and the Edson Carvalho boxing academy that is a very nice place to train yourself
