  Was more than impressed with the apartment. Was by far the best apartment I have stayed in for the price. Was close to the beach, main street, fishing and marina. Julie and Gavin were such a lovely couple. I have nothing bad to say about my stay at Port Douglas Queenslander. Thanks Julie and Gavin, will not hesitate to reccomend this lovely place. And thanks for my clothes Gavin. I forgo - Well appointed, clean, self-contained unit that was very private and comfortable. Pool was lovely and the gardens were beautiful and well-maintained. Staff was very friendly, very helpful and efficient. A great location with a five minute, easy walk to the shops or the beach which was excellent.

  From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in paradise. A beautiful walk through the gardens, especially at night when the fire lights up the board walk. The pool, bar and restaurant facilities really are five star. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. - The rooms were spacious and the facilities were good.   Stayed here for four nights in October would have loved longer. Checked in late after reception closed our lamps were lit tea coffee and milk left for us and radio playing relaxing music! Next day Sue was so helpful and organised trips to Daintree and the reef suited to our requirements with minimal fuss. Lovely comfortable accommodation and pool convenient to everything especially the wide range of exc - Verandahs is in a great location, so close to everything, no car needed. Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own. Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful. The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped. Overall stay was really relaxing.

  The owners were truly wonderful, helping us with bookings and ideas of activities. They posted the weather forecast every day, and had free wi-fi by the office. The apartment was large and comfortable, and everything worked well. Location was great, cross the street and within a block you are on the main promenade one direction or 4 mile beach ... ce que les gens disent » the other way. - The owner was very pleasant and when we arrived allowed us to choose between two apartments available. The two bedroom apartment we chose was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. and the washer and dryer were an added plus. We would definitely return to Marina Terraces if ever in Port Douglas again.

  This hotel was fantastic- we stayed in a double room with spa-bath for 3 nights and loved it. Port Douglas is a small relaxed community but is a great place to stay, and we used it as a base to travel to the great barrier reef as the Marina is only a couple of minutes down the road from the hotel. Would throughly recommend it. - Hotel entrance was on main street in Port Douglas, next to shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants, and yet so peaceful, clean, well equipped and spacious. The apartments are away from the busy street, and yet everything thing is so accessible. Nice pool for a swim after doing the local tours. Hotel owner was extremely helpful arranging tours, always had time for helping his guests.
