  We booked a two person cabin, which turned out to be really tiny, so when the owner offered us a 6 person cabin for a bit extra we jumped at the chance (it's off season so very quiet in town). The 6 person cabin was so much more spacious and comfortable - I can't imagine spending 4 nights in the 2 person one, it really is too small (ok for one per... ce que les gens disent » son).   We LOVED this hotel. Its like an oasis of luxury at a good price. Room is spacious and comfortable, with heat in both the room and bathroom. Bathroom is large and spotless. Service is also great.   I must say this hotel could not of been better as far as taking care of us. When we needed extra nights they worked hard to let us stay in our same room. The last night we had to move across the street and they let us walk over and still enjoy their fabulous breakfast!!! They made sure my husband had Gluten free as well.   Very helpful staff and a warm and cozy place to stay! They had a large common area to meet & eat breakfast (which was included in the room rate).   The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was slightly better than we are used to in Argentina. There are nine rooms around a small central garden. The garden provides for an excellent location to read a book or enjoy the sun. The rooms are cosy and clean (not large). Good value for money.   We stayed for 3days/2 nights in this very nice and beautifully located hotel. Double rooms are well sized but for 3 adults a bit small. View from the restaurant towards the central mountains is spectacular. Breakfast is good and dinner was always delicious.   A cosy place with the most amazing spa: Jaccuzzis, hot pool, steamroom, sauna, massage etc., all situated in a forest-like environment. Exellent breakfast. Gonna take my wife there, ALONE. - It was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Most of the time we went out for tours. Staff was very friendly.

  We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction.   All staff including the restaurant one went way beyond their duty, so nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, best view of the lagos in town and only few minutes walk or cab from town if you need to go there. Rooms are super clean but a bit basic, we didn't mind as we spent so little time in there and the rest wa - The view from the windows is amazing. Full panoramic look of the lake. Regular, one bed + tv + window (huge though) room + bathroom ... The price (probably due to off season) was very attractive.
