  The room itself was a pleasant surprise in contrast to the drab entryway. It appeared that cosmetic improvements had been made with the walls colorfully painted and adorned with rather appealing artwork. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels and supplies replenished. The location of the motel is a big plus: one block from Ocean Beach, next ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » door to Java Beach cafe, and at the end/beginning of the N-Judah metro muni line (with popular stops along its route including a straight shot to AT&a - We have stayed at this motel three times now. Each time the rooms have been really large and comfortable. Each has a microwave and a refridgerator. The neighborhood is really cute with lots of funky, delicous restaurants. It is one block from the beach and 2 blocks from Golden Gate park. The N Judah line is right outside the motel and will take you to the downtown area. Parking is free which is unusual for SF. For the money, it can't be beat. Don't expect fancy, just roomy and clean.

  the bed was comfortable - i enjoyed the trains and people on the street down below. i stood on the fire escape platform and was able to watch the action on the street below. it was an enjoyable stay and the room was larger than expected. - Very close to metro station
