  Beautiful setting, beautiful house, beautiful breakfast! There's a lodge more or less at the end of the drive that does lovely food and you can drink the night away there and talk to the locals while they spin you a story or two! Followed by a sing song! Breakfast was plentyful with lovely home made jams. There are no tv's in the rooms, - This has to be one of the best values for family lodging in the Loch Lommond area!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the self catering cottage. With 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single upstairs and another downstairs with a bunk bed set, this cottage easily accommodates a family or group of 5 people. It has a kitchen and a living/ dining area with a table that 4 can comfortably sit at for meals. The Londis grocery store is an easy 5 minute walk away and if you prefer a meal out

  The hotel was very interesting and had a real antique look about it. The bedrooms were well appointed with ;nice soaps towels etc... they even provided Sherry in the room...lovely. The bed was a kingsize madfe of 2 single beds... hence an un comfortable bit in the middle...I hate that but otherwise everything else was fab. We loved also discovering all the different nooks and crannies of the public rooms. Delightful real fires in all public rooms including the dining room give a real country house feel.

  I loved the scottish decor. Ie tartan carpets. Nicely furnished rooms. Friendly family feel. Best night of our holiday with live music from pure malt. Fantastic. Breakfast amazing.
