  Great hotel with friendly staff. The family room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb (best porridge I've ever tasted!) Lunch was freshly prepared and good value for money. All round a great stay and we would definately return. - Tastefully decorated rooms with good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.   Very clean bed and breakfast. Excellent service and exceptionally helpful staff. Old Scottish townhouse with clean interior, high ceilings, spacious rooms and lovely conservatory for breakfast. Only a mile from the city centre with good bus services. Quiet area. She was very friendly, told us everything we needed to know and check-in was quick and efficient. The two bedroom, two bathroom, living room and kitchen apartment was huge and extremely clean. The breakfast was self serve, but great. The apartment was located on a nice quiet street about a 45 minute walk or 10 -15 minute cab ride from city centre.

  thought it was well worth the money and would definately use again - clean, nice friendly lady (only saw this one member of staff) but she was v helpful. room very clean and bed was comfortably but its a bit dated.   The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. When I had three hours to wait until I could check into my next hotel, Margaret let me stay a bit late in my room. A big chain hotel is seldom this flexible. The room was large and quiet, the location was central, and the price was absolutely stupendous. Duly answered all our queries and made us feel at home, very quickly. Excellant customer service. The value for money was simply excellant, the food was fresh and we had good options to choose from.

  I had a pleasant 2 nights stay whilst visiting Open golf championship (Muirfield, July 2013) Sakura is a clean & comfortable B&B, VFM for short stay in Edinburgh. The owner (Maggie) provides a friendly service, & delivers a decent breakfast to you room. Newington is an old town suburb with real ale pubs offering good food. The location is very well closed to the main street, where the bus station can take you to anywhere. In addition, we do appreciate the breakfast, which is really nice. If chanced, I will be here twice and more definitely!

  I would highly recommend this Guest House. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The vegetarian breakfast was deliciously unusual, I had a banana and burnt syrup pancake. I was very kindly given a plateful of food as I had mentioned that I have a long train journey ahead of me.
