  absolutely worthy, the owner of the place is lovely, i really felt at home at oaklands... if you're planning to go to the island, this is the place to stay, best quality for money - nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors - they even ordered good weather for our stay!!! The small fridge in our room was an excellent idea.

  The shower was lovely and powerful and the bathrooms very clean and well-stocked as we forgot shower gel! The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from home! And the style of the rooms made it feel special and cosy, at a great price. Breakfast was also lovely and very generous portions, with the staff offering plenty of coffee and ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » tea. I would definitely stay there again. - The food was absolutely incredible. It is quite rare to have such consistently good pub food - every meal was absolutely delicious! We didn't eat anywhere else. The room was incredibly cosy - with an extremely comfortable bed.

  Just about the most faultless experience I have ever had at a hotel. This appears to be a fairly new building with rather uninspiring exterior brick architecture, but internally all fittings are of the highest standards as is the food and the service.The "lakeside" setting (actually an inland tidal tributary) is excellent although I would have pr... mitä ihmiset sanovat » eferred a town location allowing us to walk elsewhere for our evening meal (the hotel food is first class but expensive) - Very relaxing stay at the Lakeside Park, all staff were very friendly, room was very comfortable and clean. Spa area also very clean and facilities good. Breakfast was excellent, something for everyone and plenty of it. The dining area was also spotless and the staff were very friendly, even early in the morning. Would definitely stay there again whilst visiting Isle of Wight
