We have just returned form a one night stay at Corn Mill Lodge. THe staff are really great, very helpful and friendly. THe room was spotless and the bed really comfy.. always a good thing when you want a good nights sleep. Easy access to Leeds for shopping, we went to the theatre with our daughter who is at University there. The breakfast was piping hot and freshly cooked. The price was excellent value for money. We would certainly stay there again.

Excellent taxi arrangement with dedicated phone on reception desk. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD VALUE HOTEL IN A VERY USEFUL LOCATION IF YOU HAVE BUSINESS IN LEEDS. I WOULD QUITE HAPPILY STAY THERE AGAIN. Fantastic location for city center and surrounding areas. Rooms of good quality and spacious despite being classified a small double. Staff were exceptionally friendly courteous and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful in the restaurant. Can't imagine anyone being disappointed if choosing this hotel, will definitely use again and recommend to family and friends. Again, the peaceful night's sleep was great. Far enough of the motorway to be lovely and quiet and not too far away to annoy going off route. Cracking TV in the bedroom and HDMI compatible so works with my laptop and DVD's are far more enjoyable to watch. Food was again very, very nice for evening meal! Definitely staying again next time I'm in the area. I thought reception only fair in comparison tp other places, but I learnt all I needed. Internet was via cable in the room which was easy. Room and shower were a bit small, but with a double bed for a single room, very clean with all amenities. Restn meal was good. On-site parking was also good. Location suited me just passing through. Lovely hotel, room very comfortable and clean. We had a room at the back of the hotel and slept very well so quiet. Location great for Leeds, bus stop right opposite hotel 4 or 4A, got off at Trinity Centre and spent the day shopping great shops, and indoor and outdoor market. Will certainly book this hotel again when visiting Leeds. We liked most things is was about the Hotel, this was only a one nights stay as we were due to attend a function which was close by. Our check in was handled in an efficient and friendly way, we didn't dine at the hotel for dinner, however the breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again, and it was very good value. The room was very pleasant and the power shower was excellent and easy to operate. The breakfast was buffet style and very very good indeed, the sausages were wonderful ! Staff were helpful and friendly. The location on the ring road was very handy for the city. All in all an excellent hotel that I would be happy to recommend. The room was much nicer than we had anticipated. This was the last booking in an attic and so we were pleasantly surprised with the standard of decor and cleanliness. We left an umbrella in our room after vacating, when we rang to say our son would call and pick it up there was no problem. (Not always the case in some hotels). Second time I have stayed here...reason why? They are so friendly and pleasant, it is a pleasure. Only place I'll stay whilst on biz in the Leeds area. Thanks all for doing a great job, you make me feel so welcome. Oh and by the way...you gotta try the bread and butter pudding....deliciousness in a bowl!!. Food was very nice in the restaurant. Large LCD Flatscreen TV in the room with HDMI capability which was great!! Perfectly clean and bed was comfy. Best thing was the lack of traffic noise that is so apparent in most hotels nowadays - will definitely be back for this one reason alone!!!!!!. We really enjoyed our stay, it is a pleasant and relaxed family run hotel and restaurant, which had so much more personality and "little touches" than a hotel chain. Staff were always very friendly and accommodating. We would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the area. Pretty much everything. Me and a group of friends needed a hotel to stay in Leeds, stumbled on this one online, and was outstanding. Lovely rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, just a lovely hotel to be in. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, very good breakfast included in the price which was freshly cooked and even though the hotel was holding a Christmas party in the function room it didn't affect the service in the restaurant or disturb us in our room. Reasonable price for two rooms with a very nice breakfast. Nice warm bedroom with comfortable beds. Quiet during the night.... No doors banging with people leaving early.Pleasant and helpful staff. Restaurant had good choice, was tasty well cooked and good price. This the second time we have stayed at the corn mill as its great to get to the cricket £6-£8 in a taxi.The hotel staff are very friendly and its a great price and to finish off a lovely breakfast self service will be back next year for sure. Great booking in experience. I would book this hotel again. This is the third time we've stayed here and it keeps getting better. Arrived late to find that we had been upgraded...brilliant. Free parking, free breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms at a great price. What more could you ask?!. The family room was really comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, plenty of space for us all. The food in the restaurant was excellent, we had evening meal and breakfast (which was included), the evening meal was good value. With one exception all the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and would have no reservations in staying there again or reccomending it to others. The size of my room was good as were all of the facities within said room. The staff were helpful and professional and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to ensure that our stay was the best it could be. Lovely little hotel , you have the choice of smoking or non smoking which is rare nowadays and nice to have the option. Comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Lovely bar and dining area and the staff are very friendly. The room was excellent, much larger than expected, and great beds, lovely and warm too, and a great tv, some noise from the airport but didn't interrupt our sleep. The restaurant - Cumberland Sausage dish to die for. Best I've had. everything it was fantastic thats why i reccommended it too all my guests that was coming to my fiances 60th. Would certainly stay there again. good inside position of entrance and reception - great breakfast - nice and quiet, despite location. Nothing. 1. Starters nowhere near as good as the main course and dessert. 2. No aircon - but normally not a problem - it was a lot hotter than normal and the room was still quite bearable. Watch your head on the sloping roof in the room if you are upstairs. Reckon you should get comp. bkfst at this price and situation. Leeds City touring guests may want better location. Everything was fine. I think the bed was a little "head down" as I woke part way through the night with a headache, which I think was caused by my head being slightly lower than my feet. As a truck driver I am aware of this problem when setting up my truck for the night. One's head should always be above one's feet or gravity will make the blood fow to the head resulting in a quite unpleasant headache. Beds should be set up using a spirit level. Everything was fine, we have paid double elsewhere for a room and been very disappointed. Nothing whatsoever!. The bar didn't open until 6pm. Having arrived at 3pm, it was a bit of a shame that I couldn't have a relaxing pint for another 3hrs...... Nothing. Honestly, brilliant hotel. I kept banging my head on the attic roof, not seriously though. I did know the room had a sloping roof when I booked so can't complain really.The breakfast was very good but the breakfast room was a bit like a school canteen, no linen on table. Personal choice but a coach party in the hotel making the breakfast experience somewhat less than perfect. Other than that no complaints at all. We were dining in the restaurant enjoying an excellent A La Carte meal and did not expect to be told by a member of staff that we had to order and collect our own drinks from the bar. Other members of staff were happy for me to order from the table. However having ordered from a member of staff the drink was delivered to our table by the original young lady who banged it down on the table and left without saying a word!. The ONLY thing was there was NOT enough coffee milk and sugar however this was resolved by request!. Very little. Night reception staff do other jobs around the hotel, eg working in the restaurant or bar, meaning they are not always at reception for enquiries or late check in. Problems with wifi but Ethernet provided for those with laptops. No good for mobile devices though. Although food in restaurant was delicious with excellent service, I feel smaller portions with reduced pricing would have been preferable. Following a huge starter I was unable to eat my main course. This leads me to think that there must be a lot of waste. had to leave. Nothing. The room I had was in the roof area and the ceiling sloped but with care was ok, This was mentioned in the booking so all expected. Traffic noise thru the night but I need to sleep with the window open so it was my fault really. Nothing. Hotel needs a bit of freshening up. Wifi was a bit slow... but I'm nitpicking here!. no complaints. Nothing. The shower railings are rusty. Edges of the restaurant were dusty and had a few cobwebs. Tea/coffee making facilities are not very visible. Although there is a nite advising that there are drawer, we didn't see this until just before our departure. nothing. Water from hot tap was too hot. Could easily scald. the lack off gratefulness when the receptionist new i had 16 guests staying there as i had recommended it months prior. didnt dislike anything. booked as double but was only a 3/4 bed if bigger people booked this room bed would b very tight. Bar didn't open until 6pm, no fried or poached eggs available for breakfast at weekends. was initially put off by location.
