  My two nieces an two children stayed in one of the family apartments. We joined them for a meal and as my husband has health problems, I was happy that we were not rushed when walking to the table! Pub food, but really nice. My room was around the back, which overlooked fields, birds, cows and even a couple of deer. Breakfast was simple, but very good. I had a great nights sleep, very comfortable mattress. Good free wifi.

  Quirky room with bags of character. The couple who ran it were very pleasant. Good pub around the corner with real ales and super food. They also have accommodation, but it's better to stay at the Vines and eat at the pub. It's probably quieter and definitely cheaper.
