  I stayed at the Thompsons Arms for 2 nights midweek and. I booked a single room but was upgraded at no extra cost, to one of the cottages. It was well furnished and spotlessly clean. I really couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Lilly and Stuart were the perfect hosts and I will most definitely stay here again when I next visit the York ar... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ea. Highly recommended. - Excellent accommodation and cannot be faulted in any way. We stayed for one night in the larger cottage and there was everything you would need to stay self catering. We had dinner in York but did enjoy a lovely breakfast at this accommodation. Very friendly place and would definately stay again. - We stayed at the Thompsons Arms as we were attending a wedding in Flaxton. Stuart was extremely accommodating with regards to our timings of early arrival due to a wedding. The cottage was spotless, bed very comfy and full cooked breakfast was just what the hangover required! Thank you very much.

  Breakfast was excellent, very welcoming and friendly owner. Stayed with 2 young children and they accomodated everything we needed. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Good location for local attractions just a Short drive into York.
