  We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone and return to this hotel without a doubt.

  The apartment is spacious, located within 1.5 km of the castle (about a 15 min walk uphill). It is on a quiet street on the 4th floor (5th flr for Americans) with a view of the castle from the bedroom windows. The bedrooms get morning sun and the living area/kitchen gets afternoon sun. There is a lot of storage space available. - We liked the builidng design, facilities, furnishings, kitchen and bathroom facilities and location. Nice views of castle to rear and canal basin from lounge. Communal lobby and lift were clean too.
