We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable; we also had a great view from our window. We enjoyed perfectly cooked breakfasts from a dining room with a beautiful view over the beach and harbour. The hosts, Brian and Julie were very friendly and welcoming. Genuinely the best guest house we've ever stayed in. Excellent location, easy walk to newquay centre, fistral beach or other beaches. Accommodation is modern, very clean and lacks nothing. Breakfast was to the standard of any five star hotel that we've stayed in. The owners are very pleasant and cannot do enough to please. Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.
