  The room is really spacious and very comfortable. I watched bonfire through the Window - that was wonderful. The hotel is close to the centre of Bridge of Allan. The staff are very friendly. - The breakfast was excellent. The staff very good. Handy to Stirling Castle and area.

  As I have stayed at this hotel before, although some time ago, staff instantly recognised me, called me by name and were helpful, enthusiastic and efficient. Stirling Management Centre location in the grounds of the university is picturesque with great views and I saw deer in the morning. The biggest asset of the hotel is it's staff in particular the reception staff who are the first point of contact and have to deal - Staff were nice and friendly. I arrived extremely tired. When I asked about dinner, the options were explained to me and then the receptionist said I could have dinner in my room if I preferred, which sounded great. Food was good quality, if a little small in portion size and quite expensive. I also took part in an all day conference the next day. The food was very tasty then too. Breakfast buffet was particularly good. Thank you

  Old Churches House was superb in every way. The food was excellent. The room was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. The location across from Dunblane Cathedral was quiet and yet awe inspiring. The atmosphere of the House was delightful - cosy, simple, not "cookie cutter" at alln not over the top or glitzy, luxurious simplicity, actually.... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Extremely tasteful. We have already recommended Old Churches House to family and friends, and would definitely stay there again. - We had a very good room with good facilities. Friendly staff. In-house restaurant was very good so we ate there on all 3 nights. The situation is superb, opposite Dunblane Cathedral. We were able to park right outside the hotel in the very quiet street and if that had not been possible the public car park was just across the churchyard and in sight. We had a great stay.

Complimentary "wee drams" (small glasses of whisky) were available 'til 11 pm in the drawing room -- but we got back too late from the pubs to try! :) The location is great -- not very loud, but close to several pubs within short walking distance. Our hostess had all kind of information for us when we asked where we should go for a short - Alison the owner was extremely helpful. Almost reluctant to recommend this gem as would like to keep it as a secret but that would be unfair. Alison had the highest standards I have ever encountered and she deserves the highest accolades going. This is a definite for anyone going to the Stirling area
