The hotel itself is beautiful, you walk through a discrete regency front door into a wonderful combination of history, functionality and good taste. The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

  My husband and I just had a wonderful couple of nights at Oldfields. What made it so special was how friendly the staff are - making us tea/biscuits on arrival and when we got back from a long day out the following afternoon, and giving us helpful info on Bath (where to go, where to eat out etc.).   Milton House was the cutest, nicest little B&B we have ever stayed at. It is beautifully restored and kept in perfect order. The room we had was their small double but we were forewarned on the booking site and it was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.
