We stayed in 20 hotels over a 6 week trip through Spain. While we stayed in many good hotels we would rank this the best place we stayed in. Very friendly, owner, excellent facilities and an excellent restaurant associated with this quite small hotel. We would highly recommend the half pension option. A very warm welcome from charming host Jaime; excellent breakfasts in the very characterful restaurant; nothing too much trouble; the restaurant is probably the best in Esterri d'Aneu, with a good selection of wines, beers and licors. They even cater for vegetarians!
