Leo and Alana were amazing hosts. We arrived on a holiday when local restaurants were closed. So, we purchased a home meal prepared by Alana and served by Leo in their living room / breakfast room. Stayed in this charming hotel with excellent service for 11 nights. The hotel is at an ideal location, a five minute walk from the beach, the retail area, and the old walled part of the city. The rooms are modest but there is a great terrace off the fourth floor that offers one of the best views of the city.

The host. Lluis helped so much with everything that we had nothing to worry about. (Restraunts, sightseeing, directions, where to go, etc.)
Hotel location is very good, ~5 mins from the beach.
There is a really nice walking path up to the mountains, it takes 10-15 mins to get to wonderful views.
Parking helped a lot.
Terrace is really peaceful and nice.

There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

The room was exceptionally clean.
Large enough to not feel cramped with a nice sized shower along with good facilities such as slippers, shower caps etc.
The bed was comfortable and king-sized using a memory foam mattress as were the rectangular pillows (there were no extra pillows in the room but the hostess did ask if we wanted more).

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Hostal Rural Ca La Caputxeta for one night and it was outstanding. We arrived at about 8pm and Carmen, the owner of the Hostal, has already been waiting for us. She explained all the facilities of the property in detail and then showed us our room on the first floor. She even offered us to help with bringing the bags from the car to the room. The room was very clean and in typical cottage style. She also provided us with two free bottles of water.

The property is in a fantastic location, close to a main highway but you wouldn't know it; no road noise and you can only see trees and countryside from the house. There are also local towns and supermarkets within a few minutes, so supplies are easily available. There is some great walking in the area and plenty or other things to see; Barcelona

Excellent place. Friendly and helpful staff. Gave us all the information and help needed to explore the area. Everything that's needed for cooking was present in the apartment.
Windows were facing a beautiful small street. 5 minutes by foot to the sea. 10 minutes by foot to the beach.
I will certainly come back when go to this area again. -
