Our room was at the back of the hotel which avoided any possible noise from Las Ramblas. Couldn't fault the service and care provided. Apartment very central and convenient.

  The cleanliness of the room and hotel were immaculate, and the location superb. The complimentary snacks which were replenished daily, was a nice touch. The roof top bar/pool/Jacuzzi had a great ambiance. Staff top notch, nothing too much trouble. Makes a big difference on a hot day. This is an excellent hotel, and will - I traveled with my two adult children (21 & 22) and we had two rooms. Location!!! Its on a quiet street just a few hundred yards from La Ramblas. It was a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything. The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.

  Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10 M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as long as you are in the middle of the action. Located on a quiet side street, but close to stores, restaurants, and the great La Boqueria market. The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona. The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.
