  Its in a great location next to the metro and a few minutes walk from the sea. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The staff are friendly on the phone, although you dont usually meet them as the keys are left in a safe box. - It was very clean and very close to buses, metro, trains and the beach.

  I needed an economical place to stay for a 15 hour layover in Barcelona. I also wanted to be fairly close to everthing so I could take one last look before leaving Spain. The Pension Francia room was perfect: spacious and clean with good amenities at an excellent price. The location is great as it is walking distance to Port Vell, Barceloneta Beach, Barcelona Cathedral. Barcelona Zoo, El Born, Bari Gotic, Musee P - I love this hotel, it's simpel and clean ! I think it's the 5th time that I stayed here, and I'm always very happy here. Not all of the personel speaks english - I think that's just also the charm, you're in Catalunya... not in England- but they are always very helpfull and friendly. Location is great, and the price quality is very good I think. Will definitly return ! Good internet connection.

  The hostel was very clean even though bathrooms are shared. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helped us a lot. I could stay just two days and wanted to stay more but there was no empty room the location is perfect I went to barcelona by train and the hotel was very close to the train station it is also very close to the beach and barc... mitä ihmiset sanovat » eloneta metro station. Next time I would like to stay more in the hostel. - The location is great and the double bed room was quite OK for the price we pay. The bathroom was comfortable. The building is quite old and a bit degraded but they arranged the hostel so that you don't get depressed. Don't expect to be at a Hilton, but if you want to save some money still being in one of the best part of the city this should be at the top side of your list.

  It looks clean and comfortable . the back rooms are quiet but not have open view. Bathroom looks clean . the host is kind and give enough information in english . Just opposite of the Estacio de Franca train station wich you get train to Airport (need to transfer ) Very closer to Barcelona zoo(1 minute), Parc de Ciutadella(1 minute), La Rambla (5... mitä ihmiset sanovat » minutes) and Barcelona beach (5 minutes) by walking. - Location was very good for visiting the Old Gothic neighborhood, La Rambla, and Barcelonetta, and only a 5 minute walk to Metro stop to access farther sights. The room was small (typical for Spain), but with a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer. A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.
