  Very friendly staff with good English. Super clean, separate showers and toilets which helps avoid queues. Comfy bunks in dorm room - didn't squeak and move around like most dorm bunks! Excellent location, practically next door to the Hermitage.   This was a wonderful home away from home - we had access to hot drinks and water and snacks all day, daily maid service, and the location was quiet yet near to everything.   Excellent! The double room with Santa Clause on the fenster is very cosy. Plenty of space, good pillows, huge blanket, 4 spacy shower rooms - it all makes a good proof for the hostels' slogan Feels like home. Simplehostel made my staying quite memorable.   The staff made my three week experience in St. Petersburg fantastic as all of them were so willing to help in any way possible for my many requests for directions and information. Tatiana and Juliana went out of their way on many occasions to speak with me in English translating all kinds of materials. Just across the street from the Hermitage. The price was a little over, but still in a very reasonable range comparing it with traditional hotels in the same area.   Very nice, friendly staff. There was Pancake week and one day they treat everybody to pancakes (in addition to usual breakfast). Everything is comfortable: all the necessary facilities, the kitchen,where the guests can have tea or coffee at any time, it's clean and calm in the room. And very good location! - Hotel location is EXCELLENT, walking distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants(/fast food). We loved the breakfast, there are 5 choices and served at your preferred time. Wifi is good.
