  1) Great breakfast - love choice of diverse Japanese food including local specialities; "Western Breakfast" a bit limited but this is not the reason why we choose to go to Japan, right? + great and friendly staff in the restaurant! 2) Internet connection for free, in room. 3) location of the hotel in the city centre, very close to the bus station,... mitä ihmiset sanovat » easy orientation in town. 4) availability of in house spa 5) hotel facilities in general + cleanliness - Clean and comfortable hotel. We booked a non smoking room. When we arrived in the room it was smelting smoke. We got a new room right away which was a lot better. Although in Japan it seems difficult to get a really non smoking room. Especially in hotels which exist a little longer. However this hotel is perfect base for exploring Kumamoto and surrounding.

  Bedroom was large plus big bathroom . Nice view of a bay .location was perfect in front of a main shopping square .A beds were not so new . The park tickets for 2 days was included in the room price . Very good

  Location - a short way out of the city centre. The room, bathroom and bed were very good. The eating facilities were very good, but expensive. The breakfast was very good - something for all tastes. There are a pair of large Black Kites (hawk-like birds) soaring around the building all day. There were some good restaurants in the mall next door, including a Hard Rock Caf - Everything about it get facility's right next door to the Baseball Dome near the Hard Rock Café great shops in the foyer area and closed to the shopping mall with over 100 shops all walking distance and all rooms have spectacular views over the bay I can't say enough something like 5 bars 8 restaurants some 30 shops all in the Hilton Hotel bus stops on the ground floor with buses to the city every 15 minutes

  This hotel is new and very comfortable compared to the hotel I stayed to the previous 2 nights. They offer a massage service either in the room or downstairs. I would recommend this to anyone and other hotels in Japan need to get on board with how this hotel operates (especially comfort of the bed). The staff spoke English which is another plus.   Beautiful location and views are incredible. All the rooms face out onto the bay and the incredible scenery. There is a wonderful bath facility and funky pool/aqua center that we enjoyed using. The hotel is also on a large property with walking trails which was very fun to explore. - Private beach Onsen Helpful staff
