  The staff are good honest people. I would say that, out of the 4 hotels I stayed at in Japan, this was my favorite. Very down to earth, not fancy, but not falling apart or anything.   We really liked Comfort hotels in Japan. Very good value for money. We were travelling by car and used this hotel as stop over (parking is free). We used the opportunity to visit Hikone castle. Breakfast is included and is nice. - Closeness to JR station, but in a ver quiet area. Easy access to the local sights. Welcome cuppa while checking in.

  Fantastic place to stay! The guesthouse is very new, clean and comfortable. It has wifi and 30 second walk to a large supermarket. Lovely owners who invited us to join their traditional takoyaki dinner which we were able to help prepare and enjoy.
